Bright XR times in Brighton

Here we have a little ray of inspiration from one of XR Ciren’s supporters on a trip she made this past weekend to experience Extinction Rebellion-ness at large…

“Last weekend I took a trip down to the breezy south-eastern coastal town of Brighton and was amazed and excited by the XR activities going on.

The town is well known for being concerned about climate change – in 2010 the constituency of Brighton Pavilion voted for Caroline Lucas to be the first Green Party MP to be elected to Westminster.

The hard work continues and Brighton is an inspiration to all of us interested in a more environmentally friendly future.

In the Laines area of town you will find that  soya milk in your tea and plant-based on your plate is very much the norm, and there are bright climate emergency posters on every street corner.

While there I bumped in to the XR Choir singing crisis carols as part of the 12 Days of Crisis action and passed on wishes from Cirencester.”

Thanks to Marieke for her report and photos – it looks great.
How can we get this sort of vibrancy into our own locality?
